Agreed on Times Square; I would skip Lotte World, though. Seeing as you're old enough to have found this site and know what Expedia is, you're probably too old for the best of Lotte World.

I would not consider myself too old for a theme park. Are the rides for young kids?

Eh, Everland is much better if you want a theme park.

I'll keep that in mind, is it better than Seoul Land?

Seoul Land is possibly the worst amusement park known to mankind.

And Lotte World is only slightly better, mostly because it's indoors and Korean weather is unreliable, to say the least.

Has anyone been to the eye trick museum? Seems pretty interesting in the pics that I have seen, but wanted to know if it was impressive in person and worth the time.

Any suggestions?

Don't spend three weeks in Korea, 3-4 days should suffice. From a cultural and historical point of view, Japan is far more interesting and there are so many nicer and cooler places to visit there than in Korea.

if you can go on a good day, seoul land is better.

i didn't like lotteworld. hour long lines for rides that weren't even good, placed turned me claustrophobic, and all but one of the rides didn't feel like i went 10 rounds with mike tyson at the end.

at least in seoul land the lines are short and there's room to walk around. god i couldn't even breathe in lotteworld being shoulder to shoulder with screaming kids for 6 hours.

I'd still take Everland over either, though it's a bitch to get to.
