Hello I've got a contract on a Samsung Galaxy S2, I was told the phone was world unlocked and signed the contract expecting to be able to use it in Malaysia when I move there.
I brought the phone with me to check and unfortunately I wasn't able to get it to work with a Malaysian sim card. It might have been the sim card it might have been a problem with Koreans not understanding what world unlocked means but it doesn't work for me there.
So I have a great phone I'm looking for someone to take over my contract or buy it out. It's up for grabs at the end of the month as I'll be leaving on the 3rd of Sept. with 20 months left on the contract.
If this interests you can contact me at 010-2753-6272 or lapomarc at gmail dot com and we can negotiate the costs. |

Any possibility of you listing out the pricing details in this thread instead of potential buyers having to contacting you directly? |

Are you out of your mind? |

Drew10 as far as I understood there is a 1 time fee to transfer the contract. If you want a shorter contract takeover you'll have to get a different phone as the S2 has only been out for 4 months.
crsandus I don't know what the pricing details will be it's based on whether you want to buy the phone outright or take over the contract. If you take over the contract there is a 1 time fee I believe but I don't know how much it is. On the other hand if you want to buy the phone outright it's going for 850,000 brand new so I would sell it for 700-750.
Of course I'm always open to negotiation on this price.
Thank for posting your concerns. |

Contract Takeover:
1. What is the exact transfer charge?
2. What is the current monthly charge you pay now? (After all taxes and fees). I know people can pay anywhere from 65K-75K/month after taxes, insurance, fees.
3. How many batteries/cases do you have with the phone and is it included in your sale? Also, what is the condition of the phone?
4. Where do you live? |

If you're paying transfer fees you're doing it wrong.
That's just the greedy little store you deal with squeezing every last 전원 they can out of you. |

Don't know which carrier you're with, but KT does not take any transfer fees. You just have to buy a new USIM from them (6500W AFAIR). |

Ok so there should be no transfer fees as I'm with KT the only cost is a new sim card 6500won that's great news ssuprnova.
Drew10 I hadn't fully looked into it I'm busy at a camp this week and I was assuming about the transfer fee. Just testing the waters to see if there was interest and as there is I can and will get more information about it this weekend.
crsandus
1. See ssuprnova's comment I'll be double checking this weekend.
2. Currently I pay 65,000won a month with taxes. This includes everything.
3. Everything I received with the phone is included (even the used headphones if you want them) this includes
- the Phone,
- 2 batteries,
- 2nd battery charging case,
- USB connection cable,
- Wall charger,
- soft plastic shell to protect the phone from bumps and whatnot.
The phone has no damage or scratches if it was a trading card I would classify it as Near-Mint.
4. I live on Ganghwado an Island west of Seoul. I can do an inperson trade in most of the Seoul area. or if you live further I can send it by Teakbay. |

There shouldn't be any transfer fees.
Just take your phone, and the person you wish to transfer it to into the shop together. Fill out the application, the person getting the phone should give them ID/Bank information.
Then wait for it all to get set up in the system.
The sim card usually costs 8,800원. |
