Hey. My fiancee applied to Eduorange, and heard back in 2 days. Can any one give me the dirt on this company? Should she take the job, or run for the hills? The website left a lot of questions. Are they registered with the Korean government?

They didn't bother to reply to my email application either. I sent my application to them when they posted a new ad. After the second ad and application with no response I would never try to use them again.

I tried using them last year.. they offered me a position that fit roughly within my guidelines but the contract was completely unacceptable, once I said that, I never heard from them again.

I used them for my current job.

No big complaints. You will still have to check out the job yourself of course.

They're not the worst strain of recruiters in that they have an established office in Gangnam and they do like to think they have a good reputation. So, they aren't the kind of fly-by-night recruiter whose office basically consists of his cellphone.

Again, check out the job as much as you can with other foreigners currently working there.

They got me my current job which sucks. The director picked me up at the airport and brought me to the school and sounded alright, except he kept asking if I wanted to go skiing in Seoul with him because it was romantic. Kind of gave me the creeps.

Eduorange was good for us... They got us a good job, that we're very happy with. It took a little longer to get here than originally promised, but otherwise, we had no complaints. We have recommended Eduorange to friends coming and they have tried their best to accomadate them.

They have been in business for 7 years or so. He told us that he has recruited over 800 teachers during that time. He's definitely not a "fly-by-night" recruiter.

What an odd/interesting name.

When I submitted my resume to Stephen Cho (Sam Orange) he called me right away with an offer. I really wasn't interested in it but he insisted. He sent me a crappy contract that left out many important details. He insisted that I sign it and send it off right away. When he found out that I was researching the school and asking people if the contract was salvagable he called me up to threaten and insult me - yet he still wanted me to sign the contract and send it "first thing in the morning." After that I decided I wouldn't deal with him anymore. 2 days after I stopped responding to him I got a call from this guy who used to work at the school Orange was trying to get me to work at. He said one of his friends who was still working at the school saw my resume on a desk and stole it to warn me not to work there.

I don't know if he's completely bad, but I didn't want to trust the next year of my life and my income to that man. I didn't trust him from his first phone call.
