|
|
Hi there.
I live in a place where passersby frequently look in my window; a bit annoying especially as I sleep naked (please feel free to erase that image from your memory at anytime). Anyway, I was wondering if there is some place in Seoul where I could be a kind of 'film' that covers my window so that I can see out, but they cant see in.
Your input is much appreciated ) |

There's these things called "curtains". Look 'em up, they're fairly new. |

do you really sleep Naked? might be why so many people stare into YOUR window
your basically looking for Limo tint? where you can see out but no one can see in or see a mirror of themselves?
sure it can be found and if anything, you can buy Limo Tint but its gonna be expensive and you have to know how to apply Tint if you've ever seen DIY Tint jobs w/Air Bubble everywhere
good luck w/your search and if all else, put on clothes or just lower the blinds |

I find the Nike Dry-Fit ultra thin fly shorts without built in liner work best for freedom while I sleep. And with the added comfort of the silky material, your privates are never in the wrong place at the wrong time. Ultra thin dry-fit Nike is the best invention since baby wipes.
cost - 30 Bucks for a pair of shorts that will last for years vs. 100's of bucks for window tint. Plus all that time you spend installing it. |

Not if your body is blocking the space you move the curtains to the side. Glad to help. |

Duff Man likes buff sleeping!
Funny you should ask. An apartment building near mine is being renovated. One of the updates is a film on the windows exactly like what you're describing. On the outside it just looks like a slightly-tinted mirror, but one can see out from the apartment. I think it's a great idea.
So yes, what you're looking for is certainly out there. Have a Korean dude help you. Search out renovation companies, interior/exterior, etc. |

you must be meeting some freaky kgirls if they are willing to rock out in front of such a public window without those strange "curtain" things gorf was talking about.
the cure for shyness? force out the exhibitionist!
or, the other reality: there is no freakiness happening, to which i say, i'm sorry mate. |

Be careful with tinted windows. During daylight hours, it works the way you want. You can see out and from outside it looks like a mirror.
After dark however, the reverse applies. You see a reflection from the inside but everyone outside will be able to check your bits and pieces. |
