Hi Everyone,

I'm ready for more school.

Do you know of any physical school locations in Seoul, or online programs (from any country), where I can get a Master's in Education?

Because I have not much money saved, I would prefer places that offer scholarships.

Thank you for the consideration,

Definitely not in Seoul but if I needed an MA in Education I would take two years off and move to Finland:

University of Oulu
Masters Degree Programme in Education and Globalisation (EdGlo) http://www.degree.oulu.fi/degrees/education-and-globalisation-edglo/

University of Oulu International Masters Scholarship Programme 2012-2013 http://www.degree.oulu.fi/admission/scholarships/

I am sure others can direct you to the relevant local programs which offer reduced or full tuition waivers. Cheers, PB

Thanks for the suggestion.

Is there any reason why you'd try this particular university, and not many other programs that are out there?

Oulu?

Well, I liked the global aspect of the program so coupled to global work experience could be a potent combination of useful skills and experiences for continued teaching abroad. It's international students are drawn widely from many regions and Finland also has similar weather and outdoors to Canada. As well Oulu is reasonably well ranked in the top four hundred so world class (but not super class) as well as truly innovative foundations and associations with global companies like Nokia. It would also provide a good base for exploring the Nordic coasts. In short, it appears to me to be a very cool school.

Welcome back. What happened with your work? Didn't you have a job for a few weeks and then they let you go? I remember you dropped millions of won to get set up (and ask every single question about living here possible) only to be shipped out inside of a month.

Are you sure Korea is the place for you?

I found another job within a week (with a $1000 signing bonus). So, in the end, I came out ahead.

I'm just looking at what to do next.
