It's pretty sad, actually, but I've only been in Korea for a year or so, and I work at a really small hagwon where I'm the only foreign teacher.
I haven't really had the chance to make lots of friends, and I don't know who I can invite to my wedding. I think my side will look dismal to say the least, LOL! I think I may have 5-10 people there while my wife-to-be will have around 50-100.
That's going to look really bad.
Has anyone been in my situation before. How did it go?
Nobody from America can come, so I'm down to the folks I know here. |

| Invite all the teachers at your school. And if that fails, just take some mutual friends from your wife-to-be's side. |

No worries.
At our wedding in Busan there were roughly 400 guests. My "side" of the room was made up of about 25 people. Some Korean co-workers, some family who could fly over from home and a few friends. |

| Its probably to be expected that your entire family cant fly halfway around the world just to fill some chairs for a quick ceremony. Don't worry about it and it will be fine. |

Ha, I never thought about that, but you're right. Not worried though, her mom isn't like that, and her dad passed a way anyway a few years ago. |

| At our wedding hall we had to pay for a base of like 100 meals each if eaten or not. I maybe had 30 people and wanted to invite people in off of the street just to get my monies worth. That probably would have mortified my wife's family and gravely po'ed the owners of the wedding hall. Hahahhaa. |
