Anyone Work Part-Time at an SAT Hagwon?
How many hours should one expect to work?
How much prep is involved?
Besides teaching, what other duties are required?
Thanks.

What jizza said.

Though the odd small company will be hiring now for general test prep teachers -- I've seen a few ads in the last couple weeks -- and you may also try larger companies like the Princeton Review, who have a steadier stream of clients for various tests through the year.

Princeton pays very low, about half of what the other places do. Amount of work depends on the demand for your classes. I find most academies today want kyopos from top 10 unis.

I fit that description. I would prefer just teaching biology and chemistry if possible. The biggest constraint I have is that my schedule is pretty full Monday-Thursday.

If you're knowledgeable about test prep -- i.e. have deep strategies and materials for beating the SAT II/AP Bio & Chem exams -- as opposed to just being knowledgeable about the general subject, possibly I can help you. Feel free to PM.
