| Anybody know if she has kids (or if she has been married before?). Some of my students told me that she is a spinster. |

Yep, she has never married. I presume due to the fact that her father was practically a fascist.
I'm in my 40's and have always admired her. Even with the knife wound to her face (easily covered by makeup) she'd be quite a catch.
She's actually leading polls here for the next presidential election where she lost narrowly to Lee Myong Bak in 2007.
Part of her agenda is the construction of a tunnel linking South Korea to Japan under the Strait of Japan this would be unfeasible due to the water's depth and proximity to fault lines. |

Yeah, that unemployment rate of 3.3% (according to the IMF) is a killer. But thank god it's not as bad as the 3.65% that it reached 2009. We were boiling our leather shoes just to have something to eat during those treacherous times.

She's a spinster alright. She had her issues growing up with a dictator father (literally). It was well known that she partied and dabbled in drugs in her youth, and in 1960/70's Korea it probably was seen as a huge negative for a girl. Though the press never reported such incidents people knew. Most K-men in her generation probably would have been scared off by her and possibly by the secret police if they pissed her off.
All said, if I were in my prime during that time I would have gone after her. I think she would make a pretty good president. |
