Look into English Time, English Travels, Spin, Time to Read, or the Back Pack series. I particularly like Time to Read and Spin. Time to Read, obviously focuses on reading comprehension, though.

English Time is good, but a bit outdated. The Back Pack series is more activity based and harder to teach if you don't have resources (glue, scissors, crayons or markers). Even if you have the resources, I suggest you simply go to the bookstore and take note of what the activities are. Then, find similar material online. Basically, they have cut-outs of common things like animals, shapes, or school/home objects. You don't need to buy books for this. Just print them out.

You can always find reading material online, so I don't see the point in getting books based on just reading. That's more for advanced students who might want to read a short story.

Let's Go is by far the most complete. I usually teach part from the book and add extra examples or new sentence patterns based on the chapter. Recently, I have been using Side By Side (Book 1), but that is more geared for adults. So, we have to change a lot of the examples to fit the students, and then they practice additional things.

For example, a chapter might be on illnesses or injuries. The book only mentions things like "headache" or "fever". You could introduce more like "flu" or do doctor patient role-plays. The patient picks a word card, and the doctor will suggest medicine, band aid for a cut, crutches, etc...
