For about 3 hours earlier today. Longest sun break this summer. |

I didn't move to Korea for this. I thought it was going to be all sunshine, unicorns, and glitter. When I saw the sun today I felt an overwhelming desire to hide because I thought North Korea was setting off a nuke. |

Wore my sunglasses for the 10th time this year! It's nice to be cool again.
I suggest that for the 2011 Summer, any day with less than 10mm of rain be declared "sunny and overcast" to brighten up the statistics.
What I really want are the 400mm of rain we had on that fateful July day, come down in January as snow. That should result in at least one meter of snow and at least an entire week off work for me. |

The snow to rain ratio is 5 : 1 for wet snow and as high as 15 : 1 for light fluffy stuff. Going with an average of 10 : 1 the 400mm of rain we got would have been about 4 meters of snow! Now that would have been one for the record books!

Four meters of snow would rock. I could dig a tunnel to the convenience store and just hide from the world.
Work would never be canceled, though. Not even for four meters of snow. |

Just don't dig a tunnel to work, that's all.
Your boss sure as hell isn't going dig one to your apartment.
He'll just tell his lowly manager/supervisor to do it. Who will in turn try to delegate it to someone lower than him and so on. Eventually, it will be forgotten about/completely screwed up and they'll end up digging one to the nearest karaoke room for soju and girls. |
