Nothing new here.

Existing rules being discussed as a reminder with the slight difference that some pressure is put on employers to check more closely on existing requirements.

It is aimed at ALL foreign instructors regardless of visas. What this says is: if you employ a foreign instructor, make sure he or she is legal and has all the proper paperwork and requirements.

Thats all.

EEEEEyyyyyeeewwww.

Glad I left.

I have to say that I've been very surprised at how time consuming the paperwork has been this time compared to the previous time I got an E-2 visa.

You are amusing Traveler. You splash threads all over the forums bemoaning Korea and ESL-EFL there and whine in another thread that you cannot secure a good job there. Laughing

It is amusing, keep it up.

You've got him all wrong Mr. GHBusan. He wants a job there so he can help the North Koreans. Not for him these gross monetary concerns of mere mortals. Laughing

I missed it Urban!

He is a universal humanitarian, a missionary of sorts.

It all makes sense now. Wink

I highly doubt this is directed at F visa holders. People under F-2, F-4, F-5 are given the same rights as Korean citizens in most cases, because its a permanent residency visa. To require these documents for all these groups, including citizens, just isn't practical or intelligible according the Korean way of thinking. After all it's not the gyopos and Korean citizens who are unqualified.
