I am currently studying at Korea Uniersity. the Language program here is very good. I have had no problems, the materials are good, and there are multiple options for what korean classes to take. at the International Foreign Language School you have your basic Korean Language course which teaches grammer, speaking, writing, the basics. That has 6 levels Beginner through Advanced. there are also classes specifically for Korean Writing and Korean Reading as well as Colloquial Korean, or Korean Speaking, which has been one of the best classes I have taken ever. Not much english is spoken in colloquial, but that might have just been my class..
As for dorms at KU. there's this thing we call mt. CJ. The international dorm sits on top of the highest point in all of anam. If you happen to have a girlfriend best be making use of the local dvd bang. no girls allowed on your floor, or even in your elevator. however there are plenty of goshiwons and onerooms around anam that are cheeper than the dorms and don't have much regulation.
Hope this helps! cheers! |

| I wouldn't knock Ewha off your list just because it's a women's uni. The language program is mixed |
It may be technically "mixed," but I was the only dude in their level 5/6 when I studied there. I also studied at SNU and it was a bit more diverse...I actually really liked Ewha as a program but I hope you can handle lots of K-pop loving Japanese and Chinese women. |
