|
|
Hey, this might sound crazy, but I was thinking of bringing my Iron Gym pull up bar. Does anybody know if most single room apartment have door frames that are compatible with the Iron Gym setup?
The Iron Gym usually requires big thick frames and a decent amount of clearance above the door.
Would a studio or officetel even have a door frame? |

If you have an apartment or officetel the front door would probably be a safe bet, as they are usually steel door frames. I would definitely not use it on any interior door frames. You will probably end up ripping it out of the wall. |

Usually they will not work in Korea unless the apartment is modernish.
Often times the only two door frames you will have are your front door and your bathroom door. It may work on the front door, but do you really want to do pull ups hanging out into the hallway?
As for the bathroom door, usually they are made with very cheap materials and the clearance into the bathroom is too low for one of those bars.
IMO, dont waste the space. Get one here once you know what your place looks like. |
