|
|
My husband just picked up a laptop from Yongsan. It's got Windows 7 Premium. He asked the guy to change the language to English, the guy fiddled with it and said it was now in English. Unfortunately, my husband didn't check to see that it'd been done. Now we have a Korean computer. Can anyone help me to fix this?
We have 2 other laptops, but I'm giving one away in a couple of weeks, so I'd really like to have this fixed asap. Thanks in advance if anyone can be of service. |

If it's an HP or a Sony, I know for sure that you can have it revert back to a full clean reinstall and choose your language. You have to make it start all again from scratch and reinstall Windows. It should be on the partition to do this. |

In the end, he took it to a computer shop down the block from our apartment. The guy there did it for us for a small fee. My husband didn't get the Windows 7 disks when he bought the laptop, so he either had to bring it back to Yongsan, or go to the local shop. The local guy was great, and we picked up a few other things that we needed. We'll be recommending him to our local friends if they need help with anything. |

Ah, thanks for that info. Still, I'd have no idea how to do it. |
