That sounds like that restaurant might be in the middle of Moran Market - dog meat haven.
They've got cages and cages of dogs for human consumption on display there.
There was a Youtube video that surfaced a few years back about the dogs there.

You may need to be careful, however, of the quality of food served around these traditional Korean markets. |

Have you seen how far Songpa-Dong is from Moran market? For a start, Songpa is actually in Seoul. |

FYI, we searched for this dogmeat hamburger place all over songpa dong and concluded that it does not exist.
We did however get bosingtang. it was meh. tasted like turkey soup with fatty gamey meat. |

Do you not understand what "hamburger" is? It's not dog meat.
There is no such thing as "dog meat hamburger". |

And there's no "ham" in a hamburger? WTF?!?!?!?!
You guys are getting ridiculous. He obviously meant "dog meat burger." Just like the "chicken burgers" and "shrimp burgers" found all over this paradise.
And I'll be damned if, at one time or another, there was not at least one restaurant somewhere in Korea serving a dog meat (ham)burger.
P.S. Ich bin ein Berliner. |

Oh, it's ok. We only eat a special breed of dog raised for food consumption (though we can't tell you the name of the breed).
We don't eat cute dogs such as poodles. |

What should it be called then, "Ground Hound"? |

Yes, how dare a person eat (or kill) dogs!? It's okay to eat cows, pigs, goats, sheep, chickens, or any other animal, as long as it's not dog! The humanity!
As you can probably tell, I don't get the uproar about eating dog. Eating dog isn't inherently worse than eating any other animal. I agree that brutally torturing the dogs to death is no good, but geckosterrace didn't say anything about that. So, I think you can take your righteousness, creeper1, and get out.
Oh, and I've never eaten dog. I just don't see anything wrong with doing so. |
