cool cool. I usually don't see any foreigners in my area. I think i have seen maybe 1 on the bus and 1 at the homeplus express. That or they are gyopos who are hiding haha. I have been across the freeway into suwon (near the big 6 story homeplus). Where is a good area to hang out/meet some other foreigners? I don't think i want to keep going to seoul every weekend haha

Sanggal-dong? Probably not but go to either Yeongtong (that Homeplus you mentioned), or Suwon stn., Suji-gu, or up to Bundang.

I'm not familiar with where you guys are though you must be close (I'm in Suji - the side of Yongin close to Suwon). If I can figure out how to get to where you guys are, would love to hang out. By the way, does anyone by chance know which buses go by that Home Plus?

Hey, I've just moved to Suwon and am looking to meet people too - I'm living not too far from that HomePlus. If anyone fancies going for a drink then email me on [email protected].

Could be cool to get a group together?

I'd be into it. I personally can't do smoky bars - buuut if anyone wants to go eat somewhere, or venture to the non-smoking places in Seoul, or whatever, I'm in!

I'd be down as well! I'll send some email/pms and when I get home from school.

Anyone up for a non-smoky bar field trip - possibly this weekend? I'm thinking maybe Nashville's for some food (I'll admit, some western food sounds kind of good) and then Tony's and/or Scrooge/Dickens later for a drink or whatever...

I'm thinking Saturday night would be good too. We could all meet at Itaewon station in Seoul if everyone knows how to get there. Not sure of everyone's knowledge of the subway/bus system to Seoul...??

I'm going to be in Seoul tomorrow anyway I think and can probably find my way to Itaewon. If you pm me or email me on [email protected] then I can send you my facebook and phone number so we can meet up? I can't pm as I haven't posted enough..

I'm going to be moving up to Sangal-dong in November. I know absolutely no one from there though as all my friends are down in Changwon

I noticed besides the last post this thread is a bit out dated. (I tried searching for Sangal-dong and it appeared to be very far from Yongin??)

I am moving to Yongin in a week. This is my first time in Korea! If anyone is still left in Yongin, let me know. It would be great if anyone was willing to show me around the town. Otherwise, I am sure I will figure it out soon. Wink

ah, correction, i meant to say Sanggal-dong(상갈), which is in Giheung-gu, Yongin. I won't be there until November 1st though. What part of Yongin are you going to?
