				| Getting a copy of your degree certificate notarised and then having an apostille put on it can be expenive.
I would like to know can it be re-used again and wheter it has an expiry date like your Criminal Check?

DON'T get your original degree apostilled.

Get a certified true copy of your degree and get the apostille on that.

That is what you send to Korean immigration (through your employer/recruiter).

You WON'T get it back - which is why immigration wants a (photo)copy of the degree with an apostille affixed to it and they no longer accept originals for the visa application process.

So, I guess to answer your question, since immigration WON'T return it you also won't be able to use it again.

				| But getting the photocopy notarised cost more than getting a replacement. | |

How is getting the photo copy notarized and apostilled any more expensive than getting the original notarized and apostilled (other than the cost of a photocopy)?

Regardless, whatever you send (original with apostille or copy with apostille) you will lose it (immigration will keep it and NOT return it).

Does anyone know if they expire? I got several apostilled copies of my degree last year before my first year in Korea.

				| A couple weeks ago my local immigration office was satisfied with a photocopy of my diploma that was stamped 12 years ago by the Vancouver consulate. (They gave it back to me too.)

				| My state, MO, will ONLY apostille original documents, no photocopy allowed.

It must be an odd one if it won't appostille a certified true copy of a document (since in theory there can only be one original).

They don't expire. I've stocked up.
