I recently found myself receiving two electricity bills, this is the first time this has ever happened to me. I of course asked my school about it and they said because I live in the country that you have a night and a day electricity bill. I am just wondering if anyone has ever had this happen to them?, as to me it sounds strange.

Never heard of it in my ten years of living here.

It doesn't make a lot of sense so it could be real. This is Korea remember, lol Razz .

Get one of them to call the company. Insist that they do.
They are probably just making something up because none of them have a clue and they don't want to deal with it. In their mind it is easier for you to just pay the 100000W every month until you leave than to figure out what is going on.

Insist!

I've had that happen to me before (day and night electric bill). I had my electricity shut off for a day because I was only paying the day bill but not the night bill. Came as quite a shock getting home from school and not having any power.

My first place in Korea had that system. The night electricity is at a lower rate and it is usually used for your ondol. In the morning it would shut off and I could not turn on the heat again until 10pm.
