I have talked to them... They emailed me a job with nearly 40 teaching hours per week. I passed.

Yeah, I find them extremely annoying. I applied and was very specific about the location I want.

They keep sending me jobs that are no where near where I requested.

Multiple people from the same company send me things. Can I work with one person please, so I don't need to explain to each of them my individual circumstance?

Most of their emails go straight to the junk folder now...Not a very well organized agency in my opinion.

Yep, apparently someone looking for a job in Korea might also be interested in Saudi as a suitable location??? Spam much! Saudi is probably the last place I'd teach after the mid-Atlantic ridge...

GMSC hooked me up with my first job in Korea. The job promised pension, health insurance and severence. In the end I didn't get the first two and was paid late for my severence. Same siutation as you. I asked for certain types of teaching positions and they gave me the opposite and were really pushy. Remember they work for you and don't get paid unless you take a position. Do your research about the school and don't let them push you into taking any position you don't want. Good Luck!!! Cool

I didn't find them very pushy, but they are like every other recruiter when they send you positions that are no where near what you wanted. They were pretty consistent in sending me jobs and followed up with my quickly when I sent them emails. They may be getting me my first job in Korea.

Bad first impression, but after I spoke to one of the guys on Skype they seemed more helpful and gave me some more options closer to what I wanted. But I never got an interview from any schools through them. Haven't heard from them in a while.

I'd can't comment on other peoples experience but to be fair on them they are a genuine recruitment company and they do reply back, which is better than not hearing from them at all, as some recruiters do. At times they do go out of their way to find you a suitable position (I guess this depends on the person you are talking to). Remember you have to be a bit reasonable, recruiters don't make up the hours. They earn their money by filling in those position, it is expected they would try to fill it.
The average teaching hours at hagwon is 30, with Epik being 22 or something. I've never been offered a 40 hours position from them. If you find one, and here's the trick, say no and make it clear.

From my short dealing with them I'd say my overall experience has been a positive one, and I've been dealing with just one person.
If you go through some older threads on this forum you would find similar positive comment by people.
