Originally when this got posted I asked for it to be deleted. This kind of news does not reflect well on the board and ESL teachers in Korea. Since the major din of calls against wagook teachers is down a little it is safe.
It looks like that if you come from certain countries you have a higher chance of being searched. If you are really worried - just ship your drive by post or express.
Other things that will get you searched is if you have MANY drives and DVD-Rs. As above which country you are coming from. Which country you are from - a Pakistani doctor had his laptop confiscated to see if he had any links to terrorism. |
Crap! I had no idea. Guess these stories make all Asians think if we are 30's, 40's, or 50's that we are like this. I remembered he was a frequent poster in here. But this was back in September 2009, he did this? |
