I hear the audio but the screen is just green. I don't think he's an American as he doesn't speak like one.

judging by the accent, i'd argue strongly that he's american. he doesn't seem drunk, or anything, either, which is troubling.

and guys, let's get this straight - HE WASN'T WEARING ANY RINGS. he was referring to his knuckles.

i just find it astounding that not one person told the bus driver to stop, open the door, grabbed him, and threw his violent butt out on to the street. we all know how much koreans avoid confrontation, but honestly, that was just weird.

If you watch the window, the bus DOES stop, and listening to the Koreans, it sounds like someone tells the bus driver to do something. But, if the woman IS his gf, it does make it a bit more complicated. Throwing a raging foreigner of the bus is one thing, but the Korean woman is a different thing entirely.

I have to agree with the ForeverWanderlust. He said a person would get whipped where he's from. Same thing here. Where I'm from if a guy started to get physical with a woman or older person, for whatever reason, he would have more than a few people on his back. It is changing though.

Sadly to say if this situation happened where I'm from with a black male involved talking and being dressed like he is he would have never gotten on a bus full of non-black folks because he would have people on his back.

These people are crazy if they think a dude will be allowed to yell at a female on a bus, much less hit her in America.

Must be a Canadian thing! haha

you must come from a pretty feminist pacifist country.

no way in hell a guy will be allowed to yell and hit a women def not an old women within plain sight of men in America.

if a dude punches a chick and other dudes are right there thats an immediate ass kicking.

That's not true. Not in America. No way in every situation is someone going to intervene. There have been many cases where this hasn't happened. People don't want to be involved. It's easy to be macho online, but most people would ignore it or call the police.

Korean people shout on the bus at the bus driver more than any other country I've ever been in. The bus is also the only place where anyone one has ever said anything racist to me.

oh, and i just did a google search to see if i could find anything else on this. um, i found a website that's pretty aggressively pro-korean (i'm not going to post a link here, because i have a vague feeling it's against the TOS) and - well - i'm going to go vomit and then take a shower. yech. i mean, the western dude is so obviously in the wrong it's not funny, but these guys just take it to the next level.

BS I would bet you ANY amount of money I had or could get if we went to a bus in America and it had numerous men on the bus and we had a man and women pretend to fight that would get stopped no question!

Yeah, the bus driver is the "Captain" of the vehicle. He should have stopped the bus. The driver along should handled the violent man or have ordered the other men to subdue the violent man and hold him there until the authority gets there to lock him up in the slammers where he belongs.

That guy was huge and people are surprised nobody intervened? Come on, I don't think there was anyone on the bus who would have been a match for that guy.

And it's pretty disgusting that some people are trying to defend his actions. If he knows enough Korean to say '몰라, 뭐야, 개새끼' then I'm sure he's heard '니가' before. Even if not it's pretty idiotic to assume people are using English words when they're speaking a foreign language.

Punching a much older guy in the face who's half your size is just cowardly. I hope the guy gets deported.

It might get stopped. If anything the busdriver would kick them off. But as to the beat down scenario you think would happen, I'd take that bet no problem.

Are you serious? You think a psycho like that is just going to let a bus driver grab him and throw him off? The bus driver didn't want to get his head smacked in like everyone else.

The driver probably did stop the bus, anyways for the first while the driver probably has absolutely no idea what's going on. That bus was crowed and the driver is navigating Seoul traffic and two passengers bickering usually doesn't end up that violent.
