While fascinating, I don't like giving this guy a platform to talk about himself, as "one of a kind", and the "only one on the planet".

Since I've lived in Japan and met a lot of fringe type people, I get the impression he gets immense pleasure from being able to talk of his exploits in a public forum (in a typically restrained Japanese manner). I'd rather Japan do a better job rehabbing those who are 'hikkimori" (shut-in, anti-social types) rather than airing something which inspires the next serial killer.

On the other hand, somewhat daring film making. Still, if you're going to get into cannibalism, I'd say go to Borneo and talk to the dudes who chomped on Rockefeller's son, or the descendants of the Hawaiians who made a stew of Captain Cook. They did it for cultural and spiritual(?!) reasons, rather than to get 15 minutes of fame and letters from adoring fans.
