I just moved in and the cable is all static like. I opened up the wire box near the front door and figured out that I can disconnect the wires and plug them into someone else's socket. will that work? there are like 30 or 40 sockets and some of them are open.

so it turns out that the lying dog faced [Mod Edit] actually put a cap on the cable that ran into the wall via the box. long story short, i pulled a mission impossible, and removed the cap.

1. people coming home saw me, as the cable box for the whole building is next to the front door. Sketchy?

2. is it normal to pay for cable in an apartment? Is it normal for koreans not us? I know that we get taken advantage of.

3. I know it is a little paranoid, but does he have a way to access my apt without knowing the code? is there a master code?

It depends on the apartment complex. Some places get it and others force you to pay for it.

Yep, something else to give us a bad name. He was an English teacher. The old man said to be quite in Korean. Neu geu da or something like that. Black guy thought he said the N word. He didn't say that, but even if he did doesn't give him the right to do that. If he had of said the N word, he should have merely said something really rude and walked away. Them if the Korean guy hit him, he could hit him back and it would be on.... But this way, the black guy is sitting in Korean jail. Kind of a stupid move on his part.
