Did anyone go last year? Is it anything to write home about? |
it's worth going, at least once. take a jacket with you. it's nice during the day, but it gets nippy at night. |

Been every year of the 7 I have been here. As mentioned it is worth it to go once. Unlike many other cultural festivals this one actually has things to do.
Also, watching the actual maskdance performance in the evening under the moon is an entirely different experience than seeing it in the daytime. |

You wrote that it has "things to do". Like what?
And how many people usually attend? |

Well...little things really...like mask painting, learning the dance, making traditional soap, trip to the village.....etc etc. Things to do while you pass the day away and breaks between eating that way overpriced yet so delicious pulled pork.
As far as people that is hard to say..The square where it is held is fairly large so It has near seem too crowded, but always enough people to make it feel like an event. |

Get out to the nearby folk village, lots of performances and an impressive mask museum. Have some Andong soju. |
