Kimchi bokkumbap is a plate of rice, kimchi and meat.
Did you read any of the links we posted?
If all you want is rice, beans and meat, why can't you just make them at home?
You're never going to learn what you like and don't like if you never try anything. Go spend 4,000 won at Kimbap Nara and choose something. If you hate it, cross it off the list and try something else the next time. |

Might need some help actually saying these sounds though.
You can be reading stuff the day you start. Check out "ba na na" and "co ca co la" for easy examples. |

| If I just randomly ordered food with a "blind eye" id waste an ungodly amount of money as im a very picky eater and find most weird contraptions not pleasant. |
If you ordered bibimbap from a picture, you would most likely not like it either because there are different kinds, and even if you ordered the same one as seen in the photo, it would not taste the same as the one the previous restaurant served.
Street food always tastes different. Whether you buy it on the street or get it at a restaurant. The only consistency is when you go to a convenience store and you get the lower grade versions of whatever you like. However, you will know the taste.
That is the main reason why I tried to describe what was in the dishes in my long post. I gave probability words and opinions so you could take my suggestions and not spend your money on weird stuff like nakchi and more on things like samgyeopsal and bibimbap. Notice I repeated "bibimbap"? Maybe that is a good one to start with.
So, here is a tip. What I do is when I shop at a grocery store I will buy 2 things. I buy 1 thing I don't know I will like, and I buy 1 thing I know I will like. Then, I will try the thing I don't know about. If it is completely awful, I just toss it and eat the thing I know I like.
If you go to a restaurant with someone, have them pick something they like that you haven't tried. Try a little of it and see if you like it, if you don't, then you haven't lost any money.

| Most dishes look like one big cluster **** of food. |
Then don't come to China, because that is more of what your comment reminds me of. Korean food is all in different dishes like this http://janetnewenham.files.wordpress.com/2010/08/korean_food.jpg
In China, you get this http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3055/2881609997_324b9a5819.jpg
Korean food is easier to eat for me because I can pick and choose what I want. As seen in the photo, Chinese food can't be separated. Even when I cook, I usually leave things out until the end because I don't want the ingredients to mix and "brown" the taste.
The cost of many of these meals is under 10,000 won. If you are spending too much, then you are going to expensive restaurants. You shouldn't do this. |

Looking at that Korean food pic the only things I would most likely like on that is the fish and the meat in the middle of the table.
Im just gonna have to cook everything myself.
I just hope I can find a varied diet I like that wont break the bank! |
