My name sounds like it could be a real name. I like that.

the phrase "yeah boss" was kind of a meme with my buddies and i in the mid to late 90s. we took to calling each other boss and hoss and soss and what have you as it evolved. somewhere the "face" part got added in. also, it was my Netscape email address. yes, i'm old. i don't use this handle for anything else anymore. like NYC Gal said, i didn't envision my time on this board (or in Korea for that matter) being so lengthy when i signed up, so i didn't bother using a better name.

If I ever get to have a daughter, I'll probably name her Gem. If having a girl doesn't come to fruition, Gem will be a character in a book that I write. Maybe I'll be able to pass along the name Gem to a friend's child. I once worked for the Gem Shopping Network and find rare gemstones not only beautiful, but fascinating.

I lost my brother in a bear attack when I was 10. He was my only sibling, so I keep his memory (and the bear's) alive.

I think Jem would be slightly more outrageous. Think about it...

I actually wanted to be "the Unposter" but I forgot the "the" when I signed up.

I was a lurker for a great number of years before I couldn't bide my tounge anymore and became a member. Still, I hestitated to be a real "complete" poster so I became the Unposter, the uncola of postering.
