The buses are literally right outside Arrivals. But it's better and cheaper and faster to get the Express Train to Seoul Station, it's like a 2 minutes walk, follow the signs for the railway, you don't even leave the terminal building to get to the platforms.

The express train costs 13,000, it's more expensive than a lot of the buses. The commuter train is cheaper. That said, I'm not sure this is the best course for the OP, considering he/she might want to catch a bus direct to Gwangju from Incheon rather than dealing with KTX (I'm pretty sure this is possible).

Buses to the 'other provinces' (not Seoul/Incheon/Kyeonggi), including Jeollanamdo, are actually across the first street as you come out of arrivals, on the pedestrian islands before the train/parking lot building, on the same sidewalk as the taxi stands. I think they are gates 4C and 9C (depending on where you exit), clearly marked once you look for them across the first street. Get your bus ticket from ANY ticket office (cash or credit) outside of arrivals and they can direct you. Check out the bus schedule/price on www.airport.kr (find it on the english page-- it's there)

Finding the right bus can be a little confusing. After that, it's a piece of cake. You need to know where to get off though. A train will have a map which is easier to follow if you can sort that out.

Whatever you do, don't take a taxi Laughing
