Not much there. The seafood is great, but again that's about it. From the station it's about 8 or so stops into downtown Ansan, which is pretty good. If you have to take a bus to the station it could be much longer.

I depends on what you like. If you want to party and hang out with other weigooks it's not really your place. Pretty quiet there with not much going on. There are the usual E-mart, Lotte-Mart stores but no foreign restaurants. In Ansan you could find some foreign stuff, mainly SE Asian thanks to the lot of immigrant workers from Thailand, Bangladesh, Vietnam etc. It takes 1 hour on the subway from Oido to Sadang (Southern Seoul) and about 1 hour and a half to get to downtown Seoul.

Going past Ansan on the #4 line is a waste of time.

It's hard to give advice about something when we don't know what you're looking for. What i like, might not be to your taste. Maybe tell us what you want or expect, and we can be more helpful.
