| I have a 13mo visa but it expires in 12 months. I am confused by this. Can someone explain? Am I allowed to stay in the country a month after it finishes? |

| Do you mean that your contract expires in 12 months but your visa is for 13 months? If so, this is standard now, as schools often were extending visas by a couple days because the new teacher wasn't there yet, a pain in the ass for immigration and for the individuals involved. It provides you some extra wiggle room on the end of your contract if your school needs you around. |
