What chemicals we are breathing in everytime the bug-spray guy drives by?

Anyone know?

If his vehicle is stood still I intend to take a look at precisely what is written on the box.

I assume that whatever it is is not exactly nice, because the guy wears a mask and there is a siren blaring to warn everyone to stay clear. If it kills insects then it can hardly be good for humans.

What chemical it is matters little. What matters is that it kills insects and harms people quite a bit.

The very last thing that I would ever want to do is go up to the truck and "take a look at precisely what is written on the box".

Foreigners have asked that for years. To the best of my knowledge, no one has ever answered it directly. I've heard it's everything from DDT to some kind of petroleum based crap that clogs up the breathing holes in their skin. It does smell like burning petroleum, tho.

Don't worry, it is just a little O-ethyl S-[2-(diisopropylamino)ethyl] methylphosphonothioate!
