Yes the kind of have, as part of the original question asked where can the " best most authentic tacos be found " and someone said "Taco Bell is best for the price"

That sounds like a claim of authenticity to me

Mi Cocina.

Make my own tortillas. Grow my own jalapenos and habaneros.
Gonna try a mole mix, here soon.

Salsa, easy to make. Guac, get avocados from
E-ma-teu. Take too long to fruit, or I'd greenhouse those
suckas also.

Introduced pinto beans to the Ks. Grew a few plants
this year, but you can get them in various parts of Seoul.

I've tried Dos Tacos. They are pretty decent.
It'll get better as time goes on, I suspect.

I do use cheese occasionally, but damn, I wish I had
some of that Oaxaca cheese. Yowzas!

Queso fresco (the cheese generally used on Mexican tacos) is probably the easiest cheese in the world to make. If you're interested: http://www.thekitchn.com/thekitchn/cheese/make-queso-fresco-the-cheesemonger-099011

I've been out of the country for a while so forgive me if it's closed, but I wonder why nobody has mentioned Taco Chili Chili in Noksapyeong / Kyungnidan? Hands down in my opinion....for price and non-fancyness.

Yeh Smithy you are forgiven thanks, i will continue now I see your so fascinated. Almost as fascinating as you whinging about nothing, and about other people having an opinion. Nice one ! Smile

Also your comment about Taco Bell not claiming its genuine is like saying that Mcdonalds dont claim to sell genuine bugers, or KFC doesnt claim to sell genuine fried chicken.

Until they build some Casa Ole's, we have to deal with substandard Tex-mex. NEVER overpay for it. Stick with Taco Bell, for the price.

The most authentic Mexican food I've found in Korea is in Busan, at a bar called the Fuzzy Navel, near Haeundae Beach. I grew up in SoCal, and have had the gamut of "authentic" American Mexican food and authentic REAL Mexican food. Most people who are in love with American Mexican food don't like Fuzzy Navel's version, which is pretty much a guarantee of its authenticity.

Still and all, I like the real stuff and the good fake stuff, which is why I love Taco Bell. Bite me.
