its not sold here unless its a pirated copy, EA figures there is no market for an american football game in korea/asia

Picked it up for PS3, and most places had it too. A bit more expensive than the typical game (60k), but not what I've seen in the past.

Online code doesn't work, but from what I understand there's a way around it.

i had one of my friends who was back home for vacation scoop me a copy, but i've ncaa football 12 in yongsan so i assume you can get madden there too. best/cheapest route is to get somebody on base to snag you a copy, though.

^ Would agree with that, and PlayAsia is probably just as good an option as well, but if you want to be able to go to Yongsan grab the game yourself, go home and play it, you can do it.

I sometimes shop at a GameStop in Songtan in a little shopping center right outside the main gate (within walking distance of both Songtan Terminal and Songtan Station).

I just bought Madden 12 for $58 there (they deal in dollars, but will take out a calculator for won conversion if that's what you have).

Only drawback, it's the Asian market version (which I was amazed even existed), so to use my Online Pass, I had to use my Hong Kong based PS3 account. (Still have yet to figure out a way to get a Korean account to use DLC codes).

I'm actually really enjoying it. They put a lot of little "production value" touches into the game to increase realism, and have brought back team introductions, and flashing starting rosters on the screen. Only bad thing is that the commentary needs work. Including an unfixed error from 11, where Collinsworth will talk about a running back keeping OFFENSIVE coordinators up at night figuring out ways to stop him.

I'm just hoping against hope that they included real team helmets when playing the Pro Bowl, and didn't cheap out with generic NFC and AFC helmets again.

The xbox version says it's not region locked...I noticed some people saying the online pass doesn't work on ps3, does anyone know anything about the 360? The only reason i want the game is to play with friends back home, not too interested in it if I can't play online. If you cant download updated rosters that would suck too
