From my experience, it is better to apply through Epik. Avoid REACH TO TEACH. Reading from the Epik facebook group, it appears that it is easier to cut out the middleman (a recruiter) and just apply through Epik.
Just to let you know. I have been waitlisted and I started gathering documents mid May. I worked with a recruiter and looks like I won't be placed this Fall 2011 semester. I'm sure there are handful of people that were placed using a recruiter, but there are also a handful of people that weren't placed and on waiting list like I am. |

Has anyone applied directly? Can your application be easily rejected for small admin errors if you are sending direct to epik? I'm assuming you won't get any feedback if it is submitted directly, and nobody will check that all the documents are in order before they are sent off. Are you more likely to get an early interview if you submit directly? |
