| I sent my documents, and they were delivered to my recruiter over a week ago. How long does it usually take to get my visa number from the school? |

| Eight days or so. Keep in mind we just had a four day weekend so the place may have been closed. |

4-10 working days AFTER it lands on the desk at immigration. (typically 4-5 working days except at peak periods (like the start of the school year)).
This does NOT include the time it takes to get from the recruiter to the school to immigration.
This was the Chuseok holiday so everything has been closed.
You SHOULD get your number within a week from today.

| If I still have not received my visa number, and it was expected to be here two days ago, is this the normal waiting period? |

Visa confirmation number - not visa number and yes, it is getting a bit long.
Time to contact the recruiter and see what is up.

| My Employer received my paperwork on August 29th and I just received my visa number September 20th. |
