What's the going rate for a 528MB Compact Flash card for a digital camera at Yongsan these days? I'm going to pick one up tomorrow. I have to use this opportunity to also brag that I'm buying it to take with me to the Radiohead concert in Tokyo this weekend.
Anyway, thanks. |

Couldn't tell you about Yongsan - I haven't ever tried to buy a 512mb card there - but online they're 127,000w. |

If you can read Korean, try http://www.enuri.com for prices to get a rough idea. |

Haven't been able to get any Korean text to show up for the past few months when I go to enuri. Used to work fine on my English computer. Now i just get blanks in all of the pulldown menus, and have to guess what might be there. |

Last week I bought 256Mb for 70K Won at Yongsan. Did I do good?
I enquired at the HP iPAQ shop and he got on the phone and offered me one for 70K. I said I wanted it and he sprinted off somewhere, returning about two mins later with one. I guess I should have asked for 512Mb but it is really way more than I need.
I was actually being offered cards for around 90K prior to this so 70K sounded good to me. |

Not too bad... here's the cheapest online price. It's 11,000w less online than what you paid, but I'm often happy to pay a bit more if I want the thing NOW NOW NOW.
If you're out shopping for something, it's always good to check the online prices for reference first, so you're not swayed by outrageously high quotes from live merchants that tend to make a less-outrageous quote seem a good deal.
www.omi.co.kr is useful for that, if you're up on your Hangul reading. |

I paid 45,000 for a 128 mb memory card at Techno Mart. Don't know if that was good value but the asking price was 50,000 won. |
