Fat teachers are beautiful when they EAT. Which is periodically followed by eating again and again.
Meals are not considered as snacks. |

The person asking if Europe is more open minded - nowhere is more open minded about fat people, everywhere thinks fat people eat too much and judges them on it. Only difference if they probably won't say anything to you about it. |

There are plenty of fat people here.. The students will call you 'pig teacher' and its not uncommon for a korean to ask you "Why are you so fat?" with no ill-intent, nothing more than curiousity. Its actually kind of amusing what people will say to you and ask you here. |
Do you really believe what you're writing? The agenda you people push on this website is sickening. Ticks me off. |
Yeah, I heard this story about the "innocent" insulting comment before I came and after 3+ years I've been insulted way less than I was told to expect but when it has happened it was unmistakeably meant as an insult.

However, I will say that the students and other people in general are incredibly critical of appearance, so if you are sensitive or have low self-esteem, you might want to think twice about putting yourself in that position. I have had students call me fat numerous times, and my body fat percentage is about 4%. I have never considered myself overweight. |
Uh. I've never been called fat and I probably have a body fat percentage of ~20. Are you a body builder? Big=fat for kids a lot of the time. |

LOL yeah... 4%? Seriously........? At 4% you should be totally ripped..... I'm not sure how many people in the world even drop down to 4%........... athletes hover in between 6 and 13%. 2-4% are your essential fats.
Hopefully you didn't mean 40%..... |

Don't worry and do not be so hard on yourself, your from a culture where people do not kill themselves because of what others say or think. I was fat part of the time I worked there and once the kids got to know me it was never mentioned again in fact I just joked with them about it. Its not you so much as their culture of appearance is everything. I was lucky in that I met some really nice Koreans also, and sometimes when older people mention your weight its out of concern for your health. I know the kids can be brutal, here is a comeback I saw a woman post on this forum some time ago. Save this for a really obnoxious kid, yeah I may be fat but I can lose weight your ugly and you can't fix that. I have been working in Saudi and actually I like it better than Korea good luck. |

Almost no-one in the world has 4% body fat, and those who are can't maintain it for very long. No-one could be considered fat at 4%. I am naturally very thin, eat well, exercise, and my range is 6-8. |
