I've been in Incheon for about 12 days now. Does anyone know the best places to meet foreigners, any particular bars? I've heard Itaewon is good and Bupyeong is a good mix of western and korean.

I've been in Incheon for about a month and spend most of my nights out in Hongdae. It's amazing! Only been to Bupyeong once and it was chuseok so it wasn't very busy.

I've been to Itaewon a few times but I much prefer Hongdae. Itaewon is a bit of a shit hole really. There's some decent bars there but it just looks like a dive. It's all about personal preference though.

Where about in Incheon are you?

Where in Incheon are you?

I used to live in Yeonsu-Dong. Not an amazing night out but if you have a decent group of friends it makes all the difference.

Seconded for Rio's. It's small but they have a good jukebox and darts. You usually meet a good crowd in there. Arts Centre is good in the summer, you can just camp out by the GS in Rodeo Square.

Bupyeong is alright.

Bucheon is very close and has some good bars.

Hongdae is great on weekends and isn't that far. But if you are looking to meet people closer to home then check out Rio's in Arts Centre, Woodstock 2, and Goose Goose in Bupyeong.

I'm in wondang-dong, a bit further away from bupyeong and bucheon than you. I'm kind of in the country (as far as Korea goes) but I live with 20 other teachers so it cool and it's only 40 minutes to Hongdae.

Thanks, will try these places when I have time.

I'm in Seo-gu. Haven't really had time to meet many foreigners since i've been here as my school lessons/planning is quite demanding!

Sadly, Hongdae has turned into a real cesspool filled with obnoxious foreigners.

I'm nothing like you, or the trash you associate with.

Go pollute a different country.
