Public school job, you can't take the time of. Period.

The contract usually states that you cannot take time off while school is in regular semester session but ultimately it is up to the principal to let you go early or not
One question for the OP. I see the way you worded your thread title (and no one else mentioned this) if that is the way you use English, why are you thinking of teaching the language? That title makes no sense at all. |

Granted it's a lazy thread titling, but if you really can't understand it then it's your students I feel sorry for. You must have a terrible time with their written work!
Generally I pay more attention in my classes than I do when posting on message boards to native speakers. Thank you for your concern though, I appreciate it. |

My students write better than you did in that thread title. If you can't speak English properly to all then that simply make syou a hypocrite and sets a bad example for learners of English by confusing them. |

Ah the Irony. What exactly is make syou, I've made cookies and even a cake before, but I have no idea what a "syou" is, nor how to make one. |

That and (while not technically grammatically superb) gives the essential information, he's got a wedding at home that falls during the term)
And given the brevity you are supposed to exercise in a title of a thread, I applaud him for making a title in the least amount of words and yet still know EXACTLY what he's gonna discuss in his post. |
