Hey guys, I looked but I didn't see any posts on this. Feel free to delete this thread if it's already been posted somewhere.

For anyone who hasn't heard, there is going to be a music festival near Gapyeong in a couple weeks, during the long weekend at the start of October. The majority of the festival is actually free from what I understand, and you only have to pay if you want to go in to the areas where the 2 main stages are.

Here's the website, if you look under program you'll see a list of what is free to see and what's pay to see.

For any funk fans out there, Tower of Power is headlining on Saturday night. Definitely worth the price of admission in my books.

Just a heads up. I'd never heard of this festival and was lucky enough to notice a post about it on FB. Super happy I did, can't wait to see Tower of Power!

I've been twice and loved it both times - lots of great music and things to check out, plus decent food and a few touristy areas with 'traditional' Korean crafts and games. Definitely worth the trip.

I really wanted to go to this. Saturday tickets are sold out!

If anyone has an extra ticket, please contact me at [email protected]

I would of bought my ticket earlier but I just got paid this week (only been in Korea for 3 weeks now).

Hope everyone has fun that is going!

As mentioned above, even if you can't get tickets for Saturday, the majority of the show is actually free. (No tickets needed) You'll miss ToP on Saturday night, which sucks, but there's still lots of cool groups you can catch.

sold out? LOL, come on.. you guys sound like you have never been to a concert before.. go there, wait outside and when some Koreans come out offer to buy their tickets for 10 bucks.. worked every time for me..
just be careful when removing the wrist band and bring some tape in case you rip the band.
