Does anyone know if there is anyway around having sealed official transcripts for a teaching job in Korea? I cannot get access to my transcripts because of a collections hold. I do however have access to the information through my student account. I know that this unofficial copy is not what they ask for, but has anyone ever been able to use this instead of the official copy? It has all the same information, plus I will have the apostilled degree to prove that I'm not lying about going to college. What if I get a degree certification letter from my school? Does any document proving I went to school and graduated with good grades count? Also, is this an issue for private schools? I want a public school job through EPIK, but I'll settle for a nice private school job if I can't get around the transcript.
Thanks

You only need a transcript for the consulate. And even then, some consulates ask for transcripts and some don't. Check with your local consulate.

I thought schools, recruiters, immigration, etc... stopped asking for transcripts.

Canadian consulates require a sealed transcript in-order to stamp the degree copy.

GEPIK and EPIK also require transcripts for in-house reasons, not related to the Visa.

Op-- people on here are not going to publically tell you how to scam the system. They did that with CRCs and they got burned. So you may have to wait for a PM.

That's a fact!
I know of a few teachers who have submitted fake CRC....and been hired!
Someone with enough time on their hands and determination will find a way around the system.
