I put together a free course. 14 video modules.
Do the quizzes and get your certificate. Simple as that.... Use the demo / demodemo id/pw there to take look if you don't want to enroll right away yourself.
Any teacher trainers wanting to join the school and teach there - no problem.
I'll eventually create a free Korea specific edition of this course.

I've started the ITTT course without tutor support. I can't believe going through this actually gives you certification to teach English and that you can get paid more. All the units combined is less than 400 pages of material. Over the past year, just out of personal interest, I've probably read over 1000 pages of information about language education. But I don't get any certification for that because I didn't pay for it.
I'll probably finish going through this material in a couple weeks. Since I'm not doing tutor support I don't need to do the worksheets. The worksheets are just pure regurgitation of information from the units. I don't know if I'll actually need to study for the test. I'm guessing the test will be a lot like the worksheets. Does anybody have the test? It would be a total cop-out to see the test before taking it, but at the same time it would be great because it would save me a lot of worry and frustration. |

Whoa! really? Too bad I didn't see this before. Is this program recognized by employers in Korea? |

Oh you could always try
Seriously, I'll have a full but reasonable priced course out in Jan 2012. I have a lot of experience and will lend my name to teachers as a reference.
The course is meant to share what's possible. Also to get other trainers interested to come and teach on the school. Copy the course, throw in a Teaching in Korea unit and help teachers.
Eventually, for this course, I'll have to charge a small fee and in return offer some support. But it will be no more than $20 Right now, the LMS I use (which is great), charges me / student. We have 100 students registering / day, so it adds up. Already two grads and I can't understand how they did it, they must have just sat there all day.....
