Hi,
I'm about to buy a new laptop and would appreciate your thoughts on what specs I should be prioritizing. I am not a gamer. I will be mainly using it for internet browsing, streaming, downloading and uni work.
I plan to spend around 400 pounds (700k won). Have a look at the two laptops below:

The first, a Toshiba, has more memory and arguably a better brand. The second, Lenovo, has a faster processor and slightly longer battery life.
I am leaning towards the Lenovo one, but am interested to hear what others (who are probably more savvy than myself in this area) think.
Thanks |

The only real difference is that the Lenovo has a better CPU and the Toshiba has 2GB more RAM........for your needs I'd say a better CPU is more useful than 6GB of RAM.
(you can add 4GB more RAM to that Lenovo if you really need to in the future to make a whopping 8GB)
I'd go for the Lenovo......BTW, Lenovo is just as prestigious a brand name as Toshiba....if not more. |

I would argue that Lenovo is the better brand.
But all else being equal, it's easy to upgrade the memory... often impossible to upgrade the CPU (in laptops, that is). |
