I think I have been suffering awhile, but the last few nights had blood in my sheets and woke up with about 30 red belts all over my forearms. They dissapear rather quickly so I just haven't been noticing them. However some last and itch all day.

The bug bomber came ,did not to any inspections but bombed the place. That night I slept on the couch and got bit again. The school changed beds, etc the company said the bomb will kill anything 100% so they dont have to look or check for what is the problem basically.

*beep* that, Im getting bit again, the school is nice but since they bombed it assume it should be ok. Apparently I didnt get bit and welt up again in the morning. They also replaced mattress so have been kind. But im still getting eat up and it just seems like a nightmare/ under taking and I am lost. I would be willing to pack it in, I cant be tortured for 8 months, its not worth it .

I had this problem last week but it was solved rather easily (cross my fingers and hope there's not a brood of eggs waiting to hatch)

I removed all my sheets and washed them several times in hot water.

I sprayed mosquito killer in large quantities over the mattress 2-3 times a day for 2 days

I bought some anti bed bug packages that you put under your mattress.

Don't know if it was one step in particular or all three combined but I haven't been bitten since

I just recently came back from vacation in Malaysia where I got eaten alive by bed bugs at a hostel. I'd brought at least one bug home with me when I returned. Luckily I'd realized what it was before I unpacked, so I threw everything in the washer in scalding hot water (ruined a sweater and some shirts, but that's better than an infestation) and soaked everything I couldn't wash in hot water. I haven't had a problem and haven't found any more bugs.

But about your bites, mine lasted at least a week as red, raised welts in lines, and I had little brown spots where they'd been at least two weeks later. They never really itched that much, but the psychological distress was worse than any itching.

Bedbugs are considered a very serious matter.

You should consult with a doctor. I believe there may even be some government assistance available to deal with them, as the government is paranoid (and rightfully so) about them spreading here.

Get help. Washing your sheets in hot water isn't enough with these things.

I dont know if all bed bugs are created equal. The ones I got in college in the states were immortal. No 'legal' chemical can kill them, at least in the US. Pray Korea hasnt outlawed DDT. Other than that, the only way to really kill them is using heat. You need to get your whole house over 150 degrees F. It costs a fortune in the US to have it done by exterminators. I lived for 3 months with the worst bed bug infestation the guy had ever seen. One of my roommate, who had brought them, didnt react to their bites so had no idea that they were breeding in his room. Worst summer of my life. Its annoying, but once you finally see a nest you are gonna flip out. Something i told myself to keep my sanity at first was that people have lived with these more or less forever until DDT killed them off 50 years ago. Now we outlawed it and they are making a comeback. That kept me sane until I finally saw them. If you dont have back problems you can sleep in a hammock and wash it once in awhile. FYI, these things can live for over a year in hibernation mode with no food. They are the perfect parasite.
