Thousands of people have been actively protesting in the streets for weeks. Naturally, corporatist media has ignored it as much as possible, since active and angry protesters DO have the power to change things.
Here's a great video detailing some of the abuses of the state against peaceful protesters: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ogCJkyJ1Hro |

Solution: tear gas, rubber bullets, & criminal records.
God forbid you study & get a job. |

I know, right?
And think . . . most of those (later) Tea Partiers were Baby Boomers. They should've been working rather than pissing and moaning in tricorner hats. |

Your hippies cry for more wealth arrogation from the working. 700 of them cause chaos and are arrested.
My tea partiers -- whom actualy create wealth --cry for less government intervention in their lives. They protest peacefully, causing no chaos, and none are arrested. |

Wait, wait, wait. Let me get this straight. You assume that because the 700 got arrested, they caused chaos. There's no possibility that, as in fact happened, the police committed unwarranted brutality.
Yeah, you're definitely one of the late comers to the Tea Party. You know, the older guys who voted for Bush and just want to re-brand the GOP, not the genuine libertarian Ron Paul crowd.
Anyway, your class warfare and job creator nonsense is amusing. Yeah, you cry for less gov't intervention, unless civil liberties are at stake, and the protestors are exercising their 1st Amendment rights to say something with which you disagree. |

I wonder how many of those southern state tea party supporters will want less government intervention in their lives once all the clean drinking water supplies start to run short. |

Wondering how the tea party even got drug into this conversation.
Also wondering if anyone thinks these protests have a chance of gaining any real traction....
