Applying for universities now with SMOE as my plan B.

I am and will be on a tourist visa prior to starting the next job - will this pose any problems to getting a uni gig? i have seen some application forms asking for an ARC number - assuming this means they need/prefer a visa transfer of sorts?

secondly,
I understand SMOE need my original documents by the end of oct? how does this work in my situation. I only have one set?
also - am i only essentially guaranteed some sort of public school in Seoul? how does allocation (location and level) work?

Thanks in advance

I should probably add that I already have an apartment in Seoul so knowing where the job will be is pretty important.

When do individual public school jobs start being advertised for a March 2012 start?
