Hello!

My wife and I are looking to sell our folding bike as we have not made any use of it since we bought it. The story goes like this: my wife really wanted to get a nice folding bike for the city and about a year ago I went to high-end cycle shop hear Express Bus Terminal and purchased for her this American-made Dahon Vitesse. She rode it one time before we found out she was pregnant, and that was that. To date, the bike has only been ridden that one time and since has been stored in our back room. Because of this, it is in mint condition--literally like brand new.

I would love to keep this bike around, but with the kid coming, we will most likely get no use out of it in the coming months and year. The bike is very high quality, light weight (about 11 pounds), has 20 inch wheels and folds up neatly and easily, making it great for subway and bus travel. At full size, it is pretty close to a standard bike in terms of actual size and how it rides. And, as mentioned before, it is in perfect condition.

I'm including a link to the company's website so you can check out the quality of the product they put out. We paid around 425,000 for this bike brand new from the cycle shop and we are loking to get 300,000 for it now. I did a little digging around on the internet and, given its condition and what bikes like these go for even in the States or Europe, I think this is a very reasonable deal. If you are not interested, I'm going to be putting it up on Craigslist in a few days now that I have taken the pictures, etc.

Anyway, I hope it strikes your fancy and, if it does, let me know and we can discuss a time for you to come over and see it.
Sorry for the long note and I hope to hear from you soon,

Alan

I have the same bike, same color too. I paid about 475,000 for mine. 300,000w is a steal for that Dahon.

I've had mine for 2 years now. A solid bike. Not to mention the warranty is covered by Dahon dealers throughout the country. I hope you sell it soon. I love my Vitesse.
