Why do people still use travel agencies? You know the thing you are using right now? That's right, the internet. It is a free travel agent. |

Why did we use a travel agency...because it was advertised in the English language newspapers on a daily basis, and sometimes we need to make quick travel reservations when we do not have immediate access to the internet...ie. we pick up the phone and call the printed number. This is not the problem of the customer, this is a criminal action by a fraud....and this fraud is now going to be brought to justice. Anymore questions? |

Normally I'd agree, but travel agencies can get you cheaper tickets if you go to the right places. |

|

Two weeks after I wrote the Korea Times informing them of the many customers that had been scammed by Kang and Zenith, the Times ran his advertisement again. In my opinion they are liable for some of the damages because they chose to ignore the warnings and kept taking his adveritsing money. Money which he was getting from new customers every time the Times or Herald ran the ad. At least the Herald had the guts to write the story. The Korea Times needs to be held accountable for their actions in this matter. |

We saw your complaints about Zenith Travel. We can't vouch for travel agents. But, to be safe, we'll remove the mention of Zenith in our stick above.
Thanks for the report.... |

He owed me money for months and months. I finally went and sat down in his office and wasn't going to move until I got my money. Well, I didn't get all of it but I got over half. Guess I was lucky!! |

On Monday I was asked to return to the Seocho police station for what amounted to the formal complaint. They provided a translator and we went over all the information that I had provided in my initial complaint. Afterwards, my thumb was red-inked and I stamped each page for the record. They told me that the case would now proceed thru the Metropolitan unit, I asked if that was the Namdaemun police station, but they said no, possibly the Soedaemun station. Now that this is a formal complaint, I am more optimistic that Mr. Kang is finally going to face some sort of prosecution. I encourage any of you who have lost money to his scam to come forward now while the case is getting some attention and file a complaint. Read the preceding posts to find out the how and where to file a complaint. |
