My liver and wallet are in pretty bad shape so I'm starting a board game group. I'm thinking mostly strategy games like Risk, Monopoly, Axis and Allies as well as some trivia games like Trivial Pursuit. Hit me up if you need an alcohol holiday and we can geek it out. [email protected]

I'd be interested but I'm living in Daejeon right now. Where are you located?

I'm also interested, if you're out towards Busan/Daegu.

I live in Cheonan/Asan and LOVE boardgames. I'd be willing to travel for a day of gaming.

So I'm thinking we could kick things off next Sat night. Apparently the meetup board game group plays mostly role playing type game like D&D and stuff like that but I'm not totally sure. That's what their description says. What are you guys thinking about meeting places? There's a Board Game cafe in the Jogno area called Jumangi and the have a bunch of games that are not normally easy to find at most other places. Risk, trivial pursuit. Either way I'm gonna hit up Toys R Us in Jamsil and buy some so the place is flexible. Wolfhound in Itaewon might be a good spot. Never played Catan but I've heard good things about it.

I like the idea of doing it at a board game cafe, but I'd prefer Sunday nights.

Sunday night s would also be fine. Place and time to be determined by the majority.

I'm assuming you guys live in or close to Seoul? If so, then I won't be able to do Sunday nights since I'd be coming from Daejeon. All day Saturday or Sunday afternoons would be better for me.

Good call. I wish I had room in my bags to bring over Small World or some other excellent board game.
