Could someone tell me some good apostille services to use? I've found many, but I feel nervous about sending my documents to just anyone, so i wanted to see which ones y'all have used.

You can read about 33 pages of it. I'm sure you can find something there.

Drive to the nearest state capital. I live in Columbus and it took me all of 2 hours to get the whole process done.

I called the State Department office in my state, but they told me that they won't apostille the FBI document. Sad And I want to find the quickest alternative method of getting it apostilled because my contract is starting soon.

US Legalization. http://www.uslegalization.com/ They let you know when and were your background check is. For the Diploma you can just take it to your secretary of state and get it done.

The quickest way to get it done is to have a friend in the D.C. area if you aren't close enough to drive there yourself.
This is how I had mine done.
Fedex them everything needed for it. Include an air bill for them to send it back to you. Have them go early. You can get it in less than a week and you don't have to feel nervous about using a service.

A step-by-step for the in-person process is available here on Dave's.

The quickest way is certainly going yourself. Pressed for time and aggravated by the weeks-long wait with no end in sight, with his start date rapidly approaching, forum member Adventurer even flew to Washington from Texas, to sort his apostille situation out. He was successful. He left Washington after a day or two with the apostilled-CBC in-hand. He had waited more than a month for the mail-in service. He showed up in person and it was still sitting in their 'To Do' pile. As he was there in person, they did it for him on the spot.

Sending it to a friend/relative within driving distance is definitely the cheapest way to do it fast. Using an apostille service would be fast, too, but expensive ($150+).
