Thanks for the help! I feel as though I have a slightly more clear notion about the situation in Seoul now. I think I feel okay about not living there...the health food variety would be nice, but I can always stock up once in a while. Funny how many different perspectives there are on the same place...though I guess it's hard to call such a megapolis a single entity...
Right now I'm highly considering what looks like a great offer in Jeonju. Very nice job, great contract...director who spends a lot of his working time teaching classes...short hours, good pay, jolly guy who has spent years living in America.
Little worried that, though the place will of course be cute and rich with traditional culture, that there won't be a lot of young Koreans left. But everything else looks awesome. |
